Since 1987, Lion Country Supply has sold quality doubles from Ugartechea , one of Spain's oldest gunmakers. They were called Parker Hale Doubles back then, but were and still are known for their craftsmanship, dependability and value. In 1996, Ugartechea named Lion Country Supply the exclusive U.S. importers of these same guns and our Upland Classic series began.
These fine shotguns combine English game gun design and handling characteristics at prices unavailable elsewhere in the U.S. These values range from our Grade I box-lock at $1295 to our Grade IV ejector sidelock for an incredible $2695. Ugartechea's workmanship, styling, and dependability prompted noted smooth-bore authority, Michael McIntosh, to describe them as the "best side-by-sides in the world for the money they cost."
Production of these shotguns remains limited but we can now offer immediate delivery in an impressively wide range of specifications. We strive to maintain an inventory that will fit a quality double shooter's budget with next day delivery if needed.
